Aleasa M. Word, CLC, CEIC is the founder of Love Remembers Day and Flowers for Anaphylaxis Outreach. She is a certified emotional intelligence coach with a food allergy mom and national advocate providing support to those living with life threatening food allergies and anaphylaxis as well as those who have lost loved ones to the disease. Aleasa is also the co-founder of the #19 Days of Healing Community Outreach program and the Georgia Regional Coordinator for the US Division of International Men’s Day.
Georgina Cornago Cipriano is the founder of the Love for Giovanni foundation. Georgina lost her son, Giovanni Ciprano on October 18, 2013 due to an allergic reaction from peanuts. She has become a strong advocate for allergy awareness. Georgina is also a teacher’s assistant for special needs children. Julie Mortimer is a charity development professional who has worked with many organizations including APFED, Food Allergy Research & Education and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Her work has spanned the gambit of development, education, awareness and outreach to various special healthcare needs communities. She is a food allergy mother and advocate who resides in New Jersey.
Erica Andert is the Founder/ Leader at Michiana Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Support. She has 9 years of experience managing life threatening food allergies with her 9 year old who is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, peas, as well as seasonal allergies and asthma. Erica is a married mom of 3 and is very passionate about advocating for children and families living with anaphylactic food allergies. She lives in Indiana.
Caroline Moassessi is a passionate advocate for all people managing life threatening allergies and asthma, is the author of the Gratefulfoodie blogsite, co-founder of the No. Nevada Asthma and Food Allergy Parent Education Group, speaks nationally on the topic of food allergies and asthma. Advocates locally and federally to pass laws to protect people with life threatening food allergies and is raising two children with multiple life threatening food allergies and asthma.
Stephanie Lowe is a food allergy advocate and founder of Turn it Teal. She is a support group co-leader and has a degree in surgical technology and spent time in retail pharmacy as a technician prior to her current advocacy work. She is the mother of three who all deal with atopic diseases from life threatening food allergies and asthma to seasonal allergies and eczema as well as Celiac Disease.
Kristin Osborne is a food allergy advocate working with families in the Virginia area. She manages food allergic life daily with her own family and has advocated for families throughout Virginia.
Marie Roker Jones, BA, Fordham University, Certified Breakthrough Parenting® Instructor and Intrinsic Coach® in Health and Wellness is the founder of Raising Great Men™ – real talk about raising boys to become men of character – and What Kind of Man Do You Want to Be™ – an initiative for boys and young men to join in the dialogue about the social pressures of masculinity and examine definitions of ‘real manhood’. Marie is also the New York Coordinator for the US division of International Men’s Day, a social media strategist and co-founder of the #19 Days of Healing Community Outreach program. She is married and has two sons.
RJ Anderson is a comic book creator and writer, turned animator, who noticed that there was a lack of positive African American cartoons on television or the Internet and decided to BE the solution. After an 8 year run of being a successful owner of the comic book company Faithstar comics, Anderson decided to use his intellectual properties on more visual platforms including television and online. This transformation is the passion behind what is now Melon Patch Television.
